Office/Home Services

I don't know about you, but my house- and my husband's office- are two of the hardest places to keep organized. Too much "stuff", having a hard time getting rid of it, and just not knowing where to start are just some of the reasons why this happens. I understand.

Room-by-Room- I will come to your house and help you organize room by room. Take one room at a time, use what you have in your house to organize what you have, help you declutter and see things in a new way, and also give you the "tools" to help you keep it that way. As one of my favorite mentors say "you can't organize clutter"- FlyLady- $10/hr

Office- I will come to your office at the most convenient time for you and help you declutter, file, organize, and generally make a more efficient work space. You will be the envy of your work place! $30 for 2 hrs- $7/hr after that

Administrative Help-I have a comprehensive resume that you are more than welcome to request for a valid job opportunity. I have helped to write a 97+page Business plan submitted to Metro Government, did the initial build on the company website, was instrumental in the research for the business plan, helped to design the logo, and also design the brochures/flyers for the business as well. I would be an asset to any company, or individual in a work-from-home position. Compensation to be discussed

Sewing

I love to sew straight lines! LOL I'm not too good on sleeves (inseting them), but I can hem with the best of them! I can also measure really good, so making curtains is a breeze! I also love to make table cloths and napkins. One of my favorite things to do is re-purpose clothes! I have been doing that lately with the girls pants! I have taken their jeans, and made them into capris for school, and after it's over I will make them into shorts for summer. They are THRILLED! I will post pictures of them in their "new clothes"!

Table Cloths- $10+material (material will vary depending on what you want)

Napkins- $5/6 napkins + material (you can match these to the table cloths for holidays, special occasions like birthdays, Super Bowl parties, etc) I love cloth napkins and we have tons of these because they are not paper napkins which we have to continually buy. We can wash these along with our towels (no fabric softener so they absorb well!), and it is more environmentally nice! Besides, who DOESN'T like using a cloth napkin?

Hemming- $3/item
Adding ribbon to pants bottoms, pockets or sleeves- $3/item
Costumes- I will just "update" what you have, use it to make what you need, go shopping with you if you want to help you choose what you need- $10/hr

Curtains- $10/hr + material- I will come to your house, measure, and talk to you about what you want.

Pillow Cases- simple cases, not shams- $3 + material

I hope this one will grow! Right now I am going basic with just a few things, but as I get more "creative" I plan on giving more options! :)

Crocheted Washcloths- I do these myself. They are made out of cotton yarn, they are highly absorbant, nice and soft, yet are scrubby too! $3 each or $8 for 3.



Baby Blanket- you choose the colors/type of yarn. $30/blanket + yarn

Throw Blanket- nice on those cool nights, slightly larger than the baby blanket. $40/blanket+ yarn- you choose the colors/type of yarn

Family Services

There are so many things that sometimes you JUST don't have time to do! Let me help you with that!

Learning to live on a budget- Nope, not what it sounds like. I will teach you the tricks we have used the last 13 years while I have been a Stay at home Mom to save money on groceries, clothing, cleaning supplies, and help decide what REALLY is important. Sometimes an outside impartial person is just what you need to help you understand. If all you want is my tips, GREAT! If you want more... GREAT! I can be a mentor, or just a one time thing! $10/hr

Picking up older kids from activities- I really don't know how you busy parents do it! I have 3 kids, 2 VERY active in school, one getting ready to warm up next year, and I sometimes can't be in 2 places at once! If you want a reliable person to pick up your kids, give me a call! For a one time thing- $5, if you need me more than once or twice a month, we can set up a monthly fee that will work out well for both of us!

Personal Assistant- Sometimes we JUST don't have time to look through all that mail, decide what we REALLY want to look at, throw away, file, shred. Have me come over to help with it! Have a last minute gift to buy for someone and are stuck at work? Call me! I LOVE to shop! :) I like to think I have a great sense of fashion for my kids, my husband and myself! Let me help you if you need that last minute outfit for someone! Moving and need someone to watch the movers? I'm your helper! - Price depends on need

Cooking Services







I LOVE COOKING! I love cooking healthy food, I love cooking not so healthy food! I just want everyone to eat good food, and from home as much as possible! If I can TEACH you how to cook basics, cook meals for you, help you learn how to cook after being diagnosed with food allergies, or just cooking on a tight budget, that's what I would LOVE to do!

Baking- I LOVE to bake! My signature recipe is English Muffin Bread (this bread is fat free and dairy free!) and available for $2/mini loaf or $5/regular size loaf! I will be selling both mini and full size loaves at the KDDC Market Place Sale, May 15, 2010!

I also love to bake cookies, muffins, and cakes as well! I cook from scratch, use all natural ingredients, no artificial colors, flavors, no preservatives. I can work around food allergies- I am learning how to cook gluten free, so that is one I will still need to work on, but am willing to try! I will put a full list on another post! :)

I also do unusual things.... I am allergic to many things, including nuts/beans, so it has been a LONG time since I have had Peanut Butter. Tonight I made Sunflower Seed Butter! Oh is it good! I will be bringing samples to the KDDC Market Place Sale to see how it goes, if anyone is interested- 1 Batch will be sold for $3. I also make dry "cream of" soup mix to use in my recipes, so that I am using the least amount of chemicals.

Cooking Classes- will last 1 hr, 1 night a week- at your house if you prefer, or for larger groups (or even fun parties!) at my house or another venue.
Basic cooking class- $20/hr
Cooking parties (your theme!)- $10/per person attending

Learning to feed your family on a budget- $20 to help set up a 1 week menu plan- 7 breakfasts, lunches, and dinners- and show you how to shop for the best prices (3 hr session)

Healthy Freezer Meals Prepared for YOU!- $15-$20 depending on meal (another blog with a "menu" of meals will be posted later. Each meal will have the ingredients, cooking instructions, be in an aluminum pan, and feed 8-12 on average.

Teach you how to cook after being diagnosed with allergies- My strategies that helped me, resources I used, and some of my favorite tips/tricks, and recipes. $10/hr
